The Magnetic Locator is used to locate buried iron or steel objects such as:

• Reinforced Septic Tanks

It detects only ferrous metals (iron, steel) and will not detect other metals (aluminum, copper, etc). This makes a Magnetic Locator superior at finding desired underground assets while avoiding interference from other metals.
