Capacity:The 690 Power Drive is strictly designed to thread 1/8 - 2 pipe for use with 11-R Die Heads

Quick Threading: With a gear head speed of 32 rpm, the 690 PD saves considerable operating time when threading pipe and conduit.

Motor: A special heavy-duty, high-performance, universal motor assures ample power for repeated threading of up to 2 pipe

Directional Switch: A flush mounted forward/reverse switch is conveniently mounted forward of the hand grip

Gear Head: The gear head unit features a spur gear reduction/face gear drive. The 1/8 through 1 11-R die heads are held in position in the gear head by a heavy-duty retaining ring that allows for quick insertion and removal. The new 1 1/2 and 2 11-R die heads are directly inserted into the power drive.

Housing: The gear head is constructed of die cast aluminum while the motor housing and handle are formed from heavy-duty, glass-reinforced, industrial plastic. These elements make the 690 Power Drive a strong, light-weight, and easy-to-handle unit.

Safety Electrical Switch:A heavy-duty, paddle type lock-off switch automatically cuts off power when released and prevents accidental starting of the machine when not in use.
